Load up a pet mesh that you want to work with, here I've choosen B017cat_turkish. The first thing I do is to increase the
colours to 16 Million (shortcut is CTRL+SHIFT+0).
1. The green area is the backside of the cat ears, 2. the black area is the outlining of the ears and 3. the red area is inside the ears.
Here you can see what it will look like in the game.
But first you must decrease the colours back to 256 color (8 Bit).
Click ok on this pop up message.
Finally time to save your new creation. :) Only change the name after '_' and save it as a .bmp file.
Place the new skin in your ...The Sims\GameData\Skins folder and then test the new pet in the game - go Downtown to
the pet shop and scroll until you see it.
The dog meshes is a little bit different.
1. the eye, 2. under the paw, 3. the ear, 4. the teeth.
This is how the skin will look in the game.
All the downloads on this site is made with self-extracting exe.files, this mean that you
do not need a zip - program to unzip them.
OBS! For å unngå mailer fra engelske brukere har jeg benyttet 'Program Files' i
self-extracting linken, bytt det ut med 'Programfiler' før du klikker ok så legger objektet
som du har lastet ned seg i riktig folder. :)
Please do not take any of the downloads and put on another site.
