Adding graphic on multi-tiled objects.
When making objects I use Transmogrifier (T-mog.) and Paint Shop Pro 7 (PSP).
You can also download the program at TSR.
Back

First open T-mog. and select the multi-tiled object that you want to clone - click the 'Clone Object File...'
button - then press 'Export Object File' - the box 'Just Change Colors' and 'One Zoom, One Channel' checked - and click the 'OK'-button.
Close T-mog. for now.

Start up PSP and open the P-sprites (File - Open). Increase the colors to 16 Million (24 bit) by eighter click 'Colors' - Increase Color
Depth - 16 Million, or the shortcut Shift+CTRL+0. You will see that the colors in the Color Palette (to the right) changes from squares
into full available colors.

Click on the yellow with the Magic wand so running ants surrounds the object, hold down Shift and use the right mouse button to get ALL the yellow
parts surrounded with ants. Then invert the selection so only the object are selected by pressing CTRL+Shift+i at the same time. Press CTRL+c to copy.

Open a new image using the setting above.

When the new image is selected (it has a darker blue line) click 'Edit' - 'Paste as new Layer'. Do so with both part of the object (highlight the sprites/image
by clicking the top blue border) and line them up perfectly.
Go to Layers - Merge - Merge Visible. Use the Magic wand and click on the background (hold down Shift to get all the parts) then Invert (CTRL+Shift+i) and the desk will
be sourounded with running ants. CTRL+c to copy. Click the Undo arrow until you see Layer3 like in the picture above - then go to Edit
- Paste as new Layer and place the copy of the desk precisely on top of the other.

Find the graphic you want to add (you might have to resize it first, 'Image' - 'Resize', to keep the quality of the graphic use the undo arrow if you have to
resize it several times before you find the correct size). Now we need to get the right angle.

First skew 45 horizontal, the right window show the image after skewing. Click OK.

Then skew -27 vertical. Click OK.

And sometimes we also need to rotate 180 degrees - or mirror the object.

Place the graphic (here a flag ;)) on the Layer4 image.

x out the glases on Layer 4 and 3 and stay on Layer 2 (will be highlighted in blue). Click on the background with the Magic wand, then Invert.

Click on Layer4, you will now see that the running ants from Layer2 split the desk perfectly. :) All we need to do now is to copy (CTRL+c) then highlight the
p-channel and go to Edit - Paste as new selection, or the shortcut CTRL+e.

Use the Mover tool and place it precisely on top of the original desk-part (use the zoom).
This next part isn't really nesessary since we selected 'Just change colors' in T-mog. and we haven't made any changes to the shape of the object...
but it is a habbit of mine... good or bad :D. Click with the Magic wand on the yellow background so the running ants also are around the sides, then use the
pipette and click on the yellow (to get the right color) - then use the bucket and flood fill the yellow background.
Click CTRL+d to deselect and the running ants goes away.
Click File - Save, you will get a message about that the saved file will be limited to a single layer and a maximum of 256 colors. Click the Yes-button.

For the other part of the desk do the same, just deselect (CTRL+d) the image, x out the glases on Layer4 and this time Layer2. Stay on Layer3 (it will be
highlighted in blue) and click with the Magic wand on the background, Invert. Click on Layer4 so that one is selected (the red x on the glases are automatic removed)
then copy.
When finished with all 4 parts of the object close PSP and open T-mog. This time click the 'Import'-button. Use the 'Edit'-button to change the price, name and
description on the object.

All the downloads on this site is made with self-extracting exe.files, this mean that you
do not need a zip - program to unzip them.
OBS! For å unngå mailer fra engelske brukere har jeg benyttet 'Program Files' i
self-extracting linken, bytt det ut med 'Programfiler' før du klikker ok så legger objektet
som du har lastet ned seg i riktig folder. :)
Please do not take any of the downloads and put on another site.
